    Kitchenaid Diamond Blender (1575) vs the Classic (1570)… the Diamond Wins! After reading the reviews on Amazon, I was torn between the Kitchenaid Diamond and the Kitchenaid Classic model blenders. They both have similar sounding features and the same motor and watt size, but the Classic was less expensive. Tuesday Morning had both of these blender models for the same price, but the Classic came with an extra smaller size carafe… which of course I wanted. So I bought them both to compare and I am so glad I did.The Diamond is definitely of higher quality…

    quit after four months of light use I paid around twenty bucks for a department store blender the finally died after a decade and a half of use. I thought this one would be a great replacement, since several companies ranked it highly for blender in their 2017 reviews.     Crushes ice very well…but This blender crushes ice very well but it is very large and heavy and the top is rather hard to get on and off of the base. So, while it works well I will probably get something smaller next time, especially since we just use it for a smoothie in the mornings.
